Description

A flying dress photoshoot made for your port day

Flying Dress Cartagena® is the original, registered flying dress company in Colombia. Our shore excursion is planned around your ship’s schedule, so you can enjoy a one-of-a-kind photoshoot in Cartagena without worrying about the clock.

How it works

  1. Tell us when your ship docks. Your session is scheduled about an hour and a half after docking, so you have time to get off the ship.
  2. We pick you up at the cruise terminal. Transportation is included. The Old City is about a 20 minute drive.
  3. Get dressed and styled. We take you to our dressing location, where you change into your flying dress.
  4. Your photoshoot, your choice of location. One hour in the colonial Old City, the colorful murals of Getsemaní, or on the beach.
  5. Back to the ship, or stay and explore. We take you back to the port, or you can stay in the city and make your own way back.

Pricing

  • 1 person: $350, one hour, 20 edited photos
  • 2 people: $400, one hour, 20 edited photos
  • 3 people: $500, one hour, 20 edited photos
  • 4 people: $600 for one hour (20 photos) or $735 for two hours (40 photos)
  • 5 or more: two-hour sessions at our group rates, 5 edited photos per person

Reserve with a deposit ($100 for 1 or 2 people, $50 per person for groups of 3 or more) or pay in full. Transportation is included in every price.

Shore excursion questions

How far is the Cartagena cruise port from the Old City?

The cruise terminal is in the Manga area, about a 20 minute drive from the walled Old City. We pick you up at the terminal, so there is no need to find a taxi.

When does my photoshoot start?

About an hour and a half after your ship docks. That gives you time to get off the ship before we meet you at the terminal. When you book, tell us your docking time and we plan the rest.

Will I make it back to my ship on time?

We plan every session around your all-aboard time. For a one-hour session we need about three and a half hours between docking and all aboard. Transportation back to the cruise terminal is included.

What if my ship arrives late?

We can still hold your session as long as you have at least three and a half hours between your new arrival time and all aboard. Message us on WhatsApp as soon as you know, and we will adjust your pickup.

Where does the photoshoot take place?

You choose: the colonial Old City, the colorful murals of Getsemaní, or the beach. Transportation from the cruise terminal is included for every location.

What is included?

Your flying dress, styling and posing guidance, a professional photographer, 20 edited photos for a one-hour session, and transportation from the cruise terminal and back.

Can I stay in the city after my photoshoot?

Yes. Many guests stay to explore the city and make their own way back to the ship. Just choose that option when you book.

Can my partner or friends join?

Yes. Prices are $350 for one person, $400 for two and $500 for three, for a one-hour session. Groups of four can choose one or two hours, and groups of five or more are booked for two hours at our group rates.

What should I wear under the dress?

Nude or dress-colored seamless underwear. Please use oil-free sunscreen and body products, because oil-based products can damage the gowns.

Who is Flying Dress Cartagena?

Flying Dress Cartagena® is the original flying dress photography company in Colombia, launched in September 2022 and registered with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC). We have photographed over 1,000 people in Cartagena.
